Glenn A. "Tony" Jones, 69, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Charles Hays officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Jones was born July 1, 1948 in Columbus, GA son of the late Fred Melvin Phillips, Sr. and Eleanor Jones Phillips. He worked in Dry Wall and loved to fish and work.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Beverly Jones of Columbus, GA, daughters, Jennifer Risch (Jeremy) of Pontiac, MI, Kelli Jones and Lyndsey Jones both of Columbus, GA, son, Darrell Frith of Cumming, GA, sister, Carol Love (Terry) of Pine Mountain Valley, GA, brother, Melvin Phillips of Opelika, AL, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
