Glenn Wayne Coulter, 76, of Columbus has passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017.
A visitation celebrating the life of Mr. Coulter will be held 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, September 28, 2017 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus.
Mr. Coulter was born August 28, 1941 in Phenix City, Al. son of the late Glenn Ashby and Gladys Irma Goodroe Coulter. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, a graduate of UCLA, former Police officer with the Maui Police Department, a home builder in Alaska, former owner of Columbus Wholesale Florist and was a real estate agent for Flournoy & Calhoun Realtors.
Mr. Coulter was a dedicated father, husband and cherished friend. Guided by his compassion and honesty, Wayne recognized the basic beauty in the world and his life was testament to those truths. Long live the lessons of wisdom and unabashed love he shared with those he knew.
Other than his parents, Mr. Coulter was preceded in death by his brother Mike Coulter.
Survivors include his wife Mayumi Hashiyama, daughter, Nicole Coulter, son, Nathan Coulter all of Columbus, Ga., brother, Thomas Coulter of Nevada City, Ca.
