Visitation will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Gibson was born January 16, 1951 in Ft. Belvoia, VA son of the late James M. Gibson and Elsie Conklin Gibson. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and later worked as a mechanic for Chevron and Dolly Madison.
He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Virginia Darlene Catron Gibson of Columbus, GA, daughter, Stephanie Frady (Gene) of Columbus, GA, son, James Gibson of Columbus, GA, sister, Imogene Willis (Jimbo) of Cataula, GA, brother, James Gibson of Lake Harding, GA, grandchildren, Chase Gibson, Nicholas Frady, Ashley Frady and Nathan Gibson, one great-grandson, Bryce Gibson.
