Gladys B. Aviles, 82, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at The Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, Febraury 22, 2012 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jeff Amsbaugh officiating. There will be a private interment in Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Febraury 21, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Aviles was born November 6, 1929 in Coffee County, AL daughter of the late Lee Bryant and Effie Henley Bryant. She was a homemaker.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Aviles and her great grandson, Bo "Little Man" Price.
Survivors include her daughters, Eva Gould of Phenix City, AL, Shirley Sherer (Todd) of Columbus, GA, Donna Benson (Peter) of Havelock, NC and Debbie Harger (Chris) of Columbus, GA; son, Kenneth Randall "Randy" Bingham of Columbus, GA; brothers, James Bryant of Columbus, GA, Frank Bryant (May Bell) and Leon Bryant both of Winter Garden, FL; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and her first husband, Wiley Bingham (Chong) of Columbus, GA.
The family would like to specially thank the staff at The Medical Center 7th floor ICU Unit.
