Gisela Anna Harmon, 78, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Columbus Hospice House.
Graveside Services will be held 2:00 PM , Wednesday December 4, 2013 at Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery with Chaplain Allison Owen officiating according to McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Harmon was born October 7, 1935 in Mannheim, Germany, daughter of the late Alfred Hedinger and Elise Sensbach Hedinger. She worked at the Holiday Inn on Airport Thruway as a hostess for 9 ½ years and she loved to garden.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bonnie Dow Harmon.
Survivors include a brother; Alfred Hedinger, neice; Tanja Hedinger and, nephew; Maik Hedinger, and a close friend, like a sister; Brigitte Laib all of Mannheim, Germany.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Columbus Hospice House, 7020 Moon Road Columbus, GA 31907.
