Gerald "Jerry" Wayne Hicks, 73, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, February 24, 2019 at his home.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Kenneth Savage officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
Jerry was born August 2, 1945 in Columbus, GA son of the late Harold Hicks and Lucille Parker Hicks Prophitt. He was the Office Services Manager at Burnham Corporation and currently worked for ACS of Georgia.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Heflin Prophitt.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Haggard Hicks, children, Andrea Lewis, Jennifer Nolin (Chris) and Elizabeth Lewis all of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Stacey Hooks (Alan), Bo Lewis, Carson Lewis, Hunter Nolin, Reese Nolin, Kayla Lewis, Kameron Lewis and Kaitlyn Lewis all of Columbus, GA, and great-grandchildren, Hayden Hooks, Parker Hooks, Brooks Arrington, Rylee Lewis, Camilla Lewis and Banks Lewis.
