George Eric Fullerton, 64, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, January 6, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. EST Saturday, January 8, 2011 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Howle officiating. Interment will be held 2 p.m. EST Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Auburn, AL. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Eric was born July 20, 1946 in Valley, AL son of the late Thoma and Irene Knight Fullerton. He worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield for 30 years and later at St. Francis Hospital as a Director of Audit and Reimbursement. He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church and a graduate of Auburn University earning his CPA.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Kenneth Fullerton.
Survivors include his loving wife of almost 40 years, Faye Fullerton, two loving daughters, Auburn Fullerton and Kristin Fullerton, two loving grandchildren, Morgan and Tyler.
