George Anthony “Bud” Campbell, 66, of Phenix City, AL died Friday, August 26, 2022 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 31, 2022 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Paul Thomas officiating. Interment will be held in Lakeview Memory Gardens following the service. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Anthony was born September 16, 1955 in Phenix City, Alabama son of Margaret Shepard Campbell of Phenix City, AL and the late Junior Campbell. He retired as a self-employed Insurance Broker and business owner of Americare Benefits. Bud was a man of many talents; Mentor, Fisherman, Hunter, Boat Captain, Investor, Faithful Husband, 2nd Father to many, & Papa to 3. He had countless friends and many business associates. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family. Bud loved boating on Lake Martin, it was truly his happy place. His world was centered around his children and grandchildren. AC found so much joy attending trips with the “Travlin Dreamers”, he will forever be in our hearts and thoughts as he continues to travel with us. He will forever be missed and never forgotten…

Survivors other than his mother, Margaret Shepard Campbell of Phenix City, Al., include his wife; Rhonda Campbell of Phenix City, AL; children, Scott Campbell (Jennifer) of Salem, Al, Kyle Campbell (Julie) of Smith Station, Al; grandchildren, Nathan Campbell, Mallory Campbell and Emily Campbell & soon to be granddaughter; siblings, Chris Campbell (Lena) of Naples, Fl, Mark Campbell and Richard Campbell both of Jacksonville, Fl., Ann Rasco (Kurt) of Bradenton, FL, 2 nieces and a nephew.
