Genia Faye (Wadsworth) Lawrence

Genia Faye Wadsworth Lawrence, 62, of Columbus, GA died April 13, 2021 at Piedmont Midtown Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Friday, April 16, 2021 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Dennis Lawrence and Greg Lawrence officiating. The family will receive friends 3:00 – 4:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 facemasks and social distancing will be required during the funeral service and visitation.
Genia was born March 21, 1959 in Columbus, GA to the late John L. Wadsworth and Grace Lorraine Wadsworth. She was the manager for Vista Pawn Shop for 19 years. Genia had strong passion for gardening, animals (domestic and wild), the outdoors, and loved her family. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Wadsworth and sister, Betty Melton.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Frank Lawrence; sisters, Cheryl L. Munoz, Teresa Hackley (Randy); brother, Jimmy Clingerman; step-children, Earl L. Lawrence, Amanda Lawrence; niece, Alisha Hackley Smith (Dalton); step-grandchildren Tyler and Kaitlin Lawrence.
