Gene Gilbert Hall

Gene Gilbert Hall, 86, of Columbus, GA passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, February 6, 2025 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory.
Gene was born September 30, 1938, in Pulaski County, GA son of the late Julius Gilbert Hall and Johnnie Mae Horne Hall. He spent his early childhood in Hawkinsville, GA before moving to Columbus, GA. He was a 1957 graduate of Baker High School.
A veteran, he served four years in the Air Force as a load master and crew chief on C-119 and HC-130S Cargo aircraft based out of Hickman, AFB Hawaii.
After leaving the Air Force he was employed at Westinghouse Electric Supply Company as their Branch Operating Services manager. He retired in December of 2000.
He was a member of Edgewood Presbyterian Church.
Gene enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.
Other than his parents, Gene is preceded in death by his son, Richard Gilbert Hall.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Ann McLeod Hall of Columbus, GA; daughters, Cindy Hall Cassanova (Jeff) of Marietta, GA, Amy Hall Forbes (Chris) of Midland, GA; grandchildren, Jack Forbes of Midland, GA, Sage Holland of Marietta, GA, and Charlie Forbes of Midland, GA.
