Gay R. Snow

Gay R. Snow, 70, of Columbus, GA died Monday, August 24, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 29, 2015 at The Church in the County 12289 GA HWY 315 Cataula, GA 31804 with Pastor Tommie Hart officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Ms. Snow was born February, 21, 1945 in Santa Fe, NM, daughter to the late Gayle Leo Renfro and Uvalda B. Proctor Renfro. She retired as a Production Supervisor for Dolly Madison and was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Gay enjoyed the simple things in life. She always put others ahead of herself; planned family gatherings and reminded us of everyone's birthdays and special events. She loved her grand children beyond measure and was always the loudest cheerleader at their baseball and softball games. She was a great confidant - always taking time to listen. "Mee-Maw" was a genuine person, and never sugar coated anything. She will be remembered for her willingness to help anybody in times of need. She was thoughtful and caring and had a special connection with her dogs. Mee-Maw was lovingly honest, saying what people needed to hear - not just what they wanted to hear. She took her secret rib recipe to her grave...darn it! She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her two daughters, Darlene Sibold of Midland, GA and Cheryl Davis of Clarksville, TN, sister, Laine Renfro of Santa Fe, NM, two aunts, Arlyne Miller and Betty Rouse, both of Phoenix, AZ, grandchildren, Chris Price of Greenville, GA, Chase Price (Heather) of Newnan, GA, Skylar Reyes (Emma) of Atlanta, GA, Miles Reyes of Atlanta, GA, Bryce Sibold of Midland, GA, Alexis Sibold and Savannah Sibold both of Columbus, GA, son-in-law, Roy Sibold (Jill) also of Columbus, GA and several great grandchildren.
