Gary Lee Spear, Jr., 46, of Columbus, Ga. died Saturday at Piedmont Columbus Regional.
A Celebration of Life will be held 4:00 PM Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Kevin Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Gary was born August 27, 1972 in Keokuk, Iowa son of Eileen Gilpin Spear and the late Gary Lee Spear, Sr. He was the Director of Clinical Equipment for Piedmont Columbus Regional. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Business Management at Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky and served as the Director of Clinical Engineering at Piedmont Columbus Regional. Gary is survived by his wife of 22 years, Anna Spear, and their children, Grace Evelyn (18), Evan Daniel (13), Nathaniel Garrett (10), and Joy Kathleen (8).
