Gary Lane Mccluskey

Gary Lane McCluskey passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the age of 74 on December 12, 2021. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on December 28th at New Vision Christian Ministries in Waverly Hall, Georgia with Pastor Glenn Presley officiating.

Gary, better known as PaPa, was a man of faith and a member of New Vision Christian Ministries. His granddaughter Aimee said it best, when she said that he “loved out loud.” If Papa loved you, he told you! He lived out his faith by loving his family and fellow man.

Gary was born in Columbus, Georgia on July 29, 1947, son of the late Jack and Inez McCluskey. He is proceeded in death by his parents; his first wife, Sherry Elaine McCluskey; a son, Doug McCluskey; a sister, Nadine Deal; a brother, Douglas McCluskey; and a grand-daughter, Shelbee Elaine McIntosh. He leaves behind his loving wife, Judith “Judy” Caudle McCluskey; three daughters, Christina “Christi” (Robert L. III) Crowder of Columbus, Susan Knight of Lagrange, Lorie Greer of Panama City, FL; four sons, Gary “Bubba” McCluskey II of Phenix City, David (Vikki)  McCluskey of Waverly Hall, Daniel McCluskey of Columbus; and J.P. Greer of Panama City, FL; a brother, Billie McCluskey of Gulf Breeze, FL; a sister, Jackie Antley of Spartanburg, NC; 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, along with lots of nieces and nephews.
