Gary Wayne Gentry, Sr. 63, of Columbus, Ga. died Wednesday, July 19 , 2017 at The Medical Center.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Central Christian Church 7775 Moon Road, Columbus, Ga. with Rev. Steve Womack officiating. The family will receive friends following the services at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus.
Mr. Gentry was born August 05, 1953 in Ft. Benning, Ga. son of the late Henry Columbus Gentry and Joann Melton Pelletier. He was a former technician for Valley Heating and Air, member of Central Christian Church and loved the Atlanta Falcons, Georgia Bulldogs and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Beatrice T. Gentry, sons, David Bailey (Jessica) of Freeport, Fl., Gary Wayne Gentry, Jr. and Danny Gentry (Jennifer) both of Columbus, Ga., brother, Henry Ray Gentry of Mississippi, 9 grandchildren, Nathaniel, Daniel, Kendall, Brandall, Samuel, and Madelyn Bailey, Braelyn, Blakely and Connor Gentry.
