Gary Dwight Duncan, 76, of Hamilton, GA died Thursday, August 25, 2022 at his residence.
A visitation will be held 3:00-5:00 PM Sunday, August 28, 2022 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Gary was born January 10, 1946 in Columbus, GA to the late Clifford Duncan and Thelma Thomas Turvin. He worked at Delta for 35 years as a Supervisor in Columbus, GA. He enjoyed to hunting, fishing, working in the yard and he also enjoyed playing poker with friends and listening to Elvis Presley. Gary loved to spend time with his family; he coached his children and grandkids in softball and basketball.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lavonda Sue Duncan of Hamilton, GA, daughter, Christie McLemore (Matt) of Ellerslie, GA, son, Gary Thomas Duncan of Hamilton, GA, brother, Rodney Baker (Terry) of Hamilton, GA, grandchildren, Madison Duncan of Hamilton, GA, Haley Holloway (Brenn) of Ellerslie, GA, Makenzie Duncan of Hamilton, GA, Halee, Cole and Peyton Mclemore all of Ellerslie, GA.
