Brian Burkhalter, 37, of Auburn, AL, died March 11, 2010.
Brian was born in Columbus, GA on September 11, 1972, son Gary Burkhalter and Evelene Martin. He was a graduate of Pacelli High School in 1991 and Auburn University in 1996. He continued to reside and work in the Auburn area. He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelene Martin and by his grandfather, Dewitt Burkhalter.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, March 15, 2010 at Parkhill Cemetery with Rev. Bud Passmore officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 till 4:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907.
Brian is survived by his father and stepmother, Gary and Vicki Burkhalter of Seale, AL; grandmother, Marjorie Burkhalter of Columbus, GA; stepsister, Sherri (Jeffery) Smith of Smiths, AL; niece and nephew, Victoria and Zachary Smith; aunt, Patricia Herring of Hamilton, GA and special cousin, Lindsay Herring of Nashville, TN.
