Freddie Joe Reynolds, 74, of Columbus died Sunday, February 6, 2011 at the Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA with Rev. John Fugh, Jr. officiating. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in Campbell Memorial Cemetery in Lafollette, TN.
Mr. Reynolds was born April 16, 1936 in Lenarue, KY son of the late Nellie Hollins Reynolds and William I. Reynolds. He was a Controller for The Mead Corporation for 35 years. He was a former board member of the Easter Seals and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his son Michael Reynolds, sister, Dorothy Carter and brothers, Hayden Taylor, Willie Taylor, Leon Taylor and Ed Reynolds.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene Petree Reynolds of Columbus, GA, daughter, Jennifer Ray (David) of Nashville, TN; son, Josh Reynolds of Columbus, GA; sisters, Joan Whaley of Huntsville, AL and Henrietta Gibbons of Kingston, TN; brother, Frank Reynolds of Indianapolis, IN and four grandchildren, Michaela, Levi, Joseph and Maddie.
