Fred T. Jarrett, Sr. 68 of Columbus, GA died Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Warm Springs Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Vernon Prather officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Jarrett was born March 25, 1946 in Eclectic, AL son of the late Raymond W. Jarrett and Hazel Bush Jarrett. He was a Navy veteran and worked with Phoenix Mechanical for 25 years as a plumbing Supervisor. Other than his parents, Mr. Jarrett is preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Linda G. Jarrett, brother, Bruce Jarrett and sister, Rita Martin. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his two sons; Fred T. Jarrett, Jr. of Phenix City, AL and Shawn Jarrett (Amanda) of Huntsville, AL.; three daughters, Ashley N. Jarrett of Phenix City, AL., Rebecca D. Tucker (Aaron) of Smiths, AL and Theresa D. Turner (John) of Columbus, GA.; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
