Frankie L. Caro, 83, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Gentiva Hospice.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, August 31, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Mitch Huling officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Caro was born February 2, 1932 in Opelika, AL daughter of the late Coley and Mary Elizabeth Osburn Helms. She was a homemaker.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, CSM Henry Caro, daughter, Rita Caro Steinbook, sisters, Mary Frances Helms, Jeanette McGowen and Peggy Smith, and brothers, Wayne Helms, Bobby Helms, and Junior Helms.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Caro Martin of Columbus, GA, three grandchildren, Connor Martin, Brock Martin, and Mallory Martin all of Columbus, GA, and several nieces and nephews.
