Frank D. Spivey, 69, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his family, which he loved and adored.
Graveside services will be held 2PM Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Mark Chandler officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Spivey was born December 9, 1940 in Columbus, GA son of the late Dossie and Lottie Wells Spivey. He was the retired owner of Frank Spivey Trucking Company, an avid fisherman, a nascar fan, and loved Alabama football.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Barbara Cook Spivey, son, Frank Dee Spivey, daughter, Crystal Barbara Spivey Cunningham (Kline), two sisters, Linda Collins and Barbara Ernest, and one granddaughter, Rachel Nichole Spivey all of Columbus, GA.
