Frances Evelyn Freeman

Frances Evelyn Freeman, 90 of Columbus died Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the Columbus Hospice House.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. C.S.T. Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at West Tennessee State Cemetery in Memphis, TN, according to McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Freeman was born February 15, 1921 in Thebes, IL daughter of the late Napoleon B. Wilmoth and Mildred A. Chism Wilmoth. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. She loved cooking and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Freeman.
Survivors include her daughters, Elendra Abernathy of Seattle, WA, Penelope Freeman Fitch (Bob) of Southern Pines, NC, Joy Hamilton (Wayne) of Upatoi, GA and Thea Holmes (Walter Tingle) of Davidsonville, MD; brother, Robert E. Wilmoth of DeSoto, MO; granddaughter, Jennifer Erin Hamilton of Columbus, GA; several nieces, nephews and friends.
