Frances Anne Curry, 80, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, November 3, 2016.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Pastor David Dollar officiating. A private entombment will be held at Chapel of the Pines Mausoleum at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Curry was born April 6, 1936 in Seale, AL daughter of the late John O. and Frances Foster. She was a member of Living Grace United Methodist Church (formerly Edgewood United Methodist Church) of Columbus.
Other than her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her spouse, Orval M. Curry, her sisters, Jannie Foster, Julie Foster, and brother, Jerry Foster.
Survivors include daughters, Cheryl L. Tyler (Mike) of Midland, GA and Suzanne Harrell, her sister, Jean Corcoran of Columbus, GA, brother, John Foster (Glenda) of Garner, NC.; grandsons, Stephen Tyler (Shanna) of Louisburg, NC and Jared Lindsey, and great granddaughter, Kaylee Tyler, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests memorial donations be made to Feeding the Valley - Regional Food Bank 5928 Coca Cola Blvd. Columbus, GA 31909 or the Women's Neighborhood Network at St. Thomas Episcopal Church 2100 Hilton Ave. Columbus, GA 31906.
