Frances S. Allan, 89, of Valdosta, GA died Friday, November 18, 2011 at Langdale Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, November 21, 2011 at the Porter Chapel of First Baptist Church, 212 12th St. Columbus, GA with Dr. Jimmy Elder officiating. A private interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the chapel according to McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Allan was born April 16, 1922 in Dawson, GA daughter of the late Florance Hester Stokes and William Ewell Stokes. She had worked as a sales clerk for Kirvenâ
