First Sergeant T. G. (Ret.) Reynolds

First Sergeant (Ret.) T. G. Reynolds, 85, of Columbus died Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the Columbus Hospice House.

Funeral services with full Military Honors will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Cornerstone Church of God 7701 Lloyd Road Columbus, GA 31909 with Reverend Ray Dawson, Reverend Daniel McEachin, and Reverend Gregg Tipton officiating. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Mr. Reynolds was born November 25, 1925 in Attalla, AL son of the late Bose and Annie Mae Wilson Reynolds. He retired after 23 ½ years of service from the U.S. Army as a First Sergeant serving in World War II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War. While serving in the U.S. Army, he received a Silver Star, two Purple Hearts, and a Bronze Star. He worked for the Muscogee County School District as a JROTC Instructor. He was a member of Cornerstone Church of God and a member of the VFW.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Williams Reynolds of Columbus, GA, two daughters, Vicki Bradford (Tommy) of Columbus, GA and Sheri Noviello (Kevin) of Columbus, GA, son, Jeffrey Reynolds (Joanne) of Columbus, GA, one brother, Sonny Reynolds of Attalla, AL, two sisters, Bea Mason of Chicago, IL and Edna Davis of Leeds, AL, and nine grandchildren, Krista and Dalton Bradford, Kevin, Kaleb, and Kody Noviello, and Janie, Julie, Jill, and Jenna Reynolds.
