Eve Floyd, 70, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, December 20, 2012 at her home.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, December 21, 2012 at Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery with Reverend Jim Hilderbrand officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Floyd was born January 15, 1942 in Camden, AR daughter of the late George and Annie Pierce Doberty. She was the owner and broker of Floyd Realty.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester M. Floyd, daughter, Rebecca Floyd, brother, George Doberty, and sister, Dean Wells.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty Ward (Rodger) of Columbus, GA, sons, Richard Floyd of Columbus, GA and Marty Floyd (Tammy) of Valley, AL, six grandchildren, Jonathan Goodman, Timmy Floyd, Brooke Ward, Shannon Ward, Kasey Ward and Zackery Tanner, one great grandchild, Kylie Velazquez, and two nieces, Sharon Rankin and Angela Moser.
