Eva Mae Champion Rumph, 69, of Phenix City, AL died Friday, November 27, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital.
A private family memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, December 5, 2015 at her daughters residence according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Rumph was born April 22, 1946 to the late Henry and Mollie Holsombach Champion in Amite, LA. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a former member of Russell Woods Congregational Christian Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Joyce Harris.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Peter Fredrick Rumph, daughter, Wendy Maldonado (Ricardo), sisters, Jimmie Allison (Charles), Christine Courson, and Gloria D. Rumph (James), brother, James Champion (Evelyn), grandchildren, Niki Coleman, Zack Coleman, Jennifer Dickinson (Ian), and Jonathan Maldonado (Janelle), and several nieces and nephews.
