Euzema "Jean" Mays, 91, of Columbus, Ga. died Sunday, May 12, 2019 at the Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, May 16, 2019 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Dr. Rick Mitchell officiating. A private interment will be held. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Mrs. Mays was born July 19, 1927 in Dublin, Ga. daughter of the late Homer and Eda Miller Chapman. She was a homemaker and member of Wynnton United Methodist Church.
Other than her parents, Mrs. Mays was preceded in death by her husband Jim B. Mays, Sr. and her daughter Phyllis Pekor.
Survivors include her children, Jim Mays and Cindy Mays of Columbus, Ga., 6 grandchildren, Stephanie Gick, Jeb Stewart Mays, Brittney Espersen, Sarah Green, Charles Pekor and Leesa Garcia and 10 great-grandchildren.
