Esteban Manuel De Jesus-Colon

Esteban Manuel De Jesus-Colon, 23, of Columbus, GA, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.

Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Friday, September 29, 2023 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor James Williams and Minister Sandy Strozier officiating.The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Esteban was born April 21, 2000, in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, to Gesselle Colón and Mannie De Jesus. Esteban and his family relocated to Columbus where he graduated from Jordan Vocational High School. After high school, Esteban went off to Andrew College, pursuing his love for playing soccer. Esteban’s passion for the sport eventually led him to coach a U-19 team, The Hurricanes, from the Boxwood Soccer Club in Columbus.

Esteban is remembered by his loved ones for his sweet-loving nature, compassion for others, and for never failing to be the comedian in the room. When he was not working or coaching, you could find him in the studio recording music with friends or spending time with family. Esteban will be forever remembered by his family, friends, and loyal companion “Uz-Boy”. Let us be grateful for the years he brought joy to our lives.

Esteban is survived by his moms, Gesselle and Theresa; his father, Mannie De Jesus; brothers, Manolo De Jesus, Jose Alberto Cruz-Colón, Edwin “Happy” Cruz-Colón, Diego De Jesus-Colón; and grandmothers, Flor M. Pacheco and Magdalia De Jesus; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and one nephew.
