Ernestine S. Belyew, 86, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 18, 2018 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. David Howle officiating. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery with Rev. Scott Rhodes officiating. The family will receive friends Monday 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Ms. Belyew was born April 13, 1932 in Eva, TN daughter of the late Lester James Sandefur and Ruby Chloe Pafford Sandefur. She retired as an Executive Secretary at AFLAC and was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church where she was the receptionist for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include her daughter, Dana Rossi (Chuck) of Columbus, GA, sister, Billie Jean Doty (Jim) of Dayton, TN, grandchildren, Catherine Reynolds (Justin), Charles Rossi, Matthew Rossi, Michael Rossi and Heather Rossi, and great-granddaughters, Hallie Reynolds and Harper Reynolds.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to Easter Seals of West GA 2515 Double Churches Rd. Columbus, GA 31909 or to the Valley Rescue Mission 2903 2nd Ave. Columbus, GA 31901.
