Emily was born on October 28, 2018 in Columbus, GA to Jessica and Kasey Sanders. She was a beautiful, vibrant, little girl who touched any life that she came across. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially at events where she could be held and seen by everyone. Emily suffered from a rare chronic abnormality known as Ring 13 which made her life difficult, but she always carried herself with never-ending love, hope, and determination even at such a young age. Emily was such a strong, feisty girl; and because of this she met every obstacle in her life head on even when the odds were stacked against her. She loved long trips with her family where she could look out of her window and take in all of the different sights along the way. She especially loved the beach where she was able to look out over the ocean and taste the salt air. She was an avid lover of pizza sauce and whipped cream, and would smile ear to ear every chance she had an opportunity to taste them on her lips. She thoroughly enjoyed a good movie with her sisters; especially Rio, Tangled, and Anastasia. Emily loved being held, and would throw the sassiest fits when no one was paying her enough attention. She loved listening to Mommy sing to her while giving her a bath, and would always root for the Braves while sitting in Daddy’s lap. Emily’s bright, innocent, outlook on life was contagious not only to her family, but to the many people that crossed her path in life.
Emily is survived by her parents Jessica and Kasey, her sisters Olivia and Violet, her brother Lucas, her grandparents Glenda Crider, Margo Sanders, and Kris Sanders, and her great-grandparents Jimmy and Betty McDonald. She is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins who loved her dearly. Lastly she is sorely missed by her cat Goku, who always would lie beside her bed and guard her from danger. Emily will be missed tremendously.
