Elsie E. Rolison, 83 of Waverly Hall, Georgia died Saturday January 2, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Tuesday January 5, 2016 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Wright officiating. A private interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-2 PM Tuesday at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, Ga. 31907.
Mrs. Rolison was born August 3, 1932 in Headland, Alabama daughter of the late Dawsey Snellgrove and Emma Brown Goodman. She retired after 40 years with Swift Textiles, was a member at Upatoi United Methodist Church and loved gardening, traveling and crocheting.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Rolison, son, Billy Joe Rolison and brother, Lamar Snellgrove.
Survivors include her grandchildren, William "Scott" Rolison (Nikki) of Waverly Hall, Ga., Kristi Rolison Anthony (Mark) of Mauk, Ga., great grandchildren, Blake and Brooke Rolison, Kamryn and Kolby Anthony and several nieces and nephews.
