Elsie Cannon, 82, of Smith Station died Saturday, April 2, 2022 at her residence
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907 with Chaplain Daniel Mitchell officiating. A visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907.
Elsie was born April 12, 1939 in Carrollton, Georgia daughter of the late Jesse H. Hendrix and Eula Mae Hammonds Hendrix. She was an inspector at Tom’s Plant in the bakery department under the quality control. She loved to cook and love to spend time with her family. She is preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Semich of Panama City, Fl, Sherry Diane Carrion of Smiths Station, AL, sister Betty Hill of Sumatra, FL, brother, James A. Hendrix of Oregon, grandchildren, Jeremy Cannon, Joshua Cannon, Eric Brown, Adam Cannon, Michael Carrion, Chris Carrion, Tim Carrion and numerous great grandchildren.
