Elizabeth Gingell Miles, 58, of Midland, GA died Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Columbus Hospice House.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Dan O'Connell officiating. An interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. A Vigil Service will be held Wednesday at 6:00 PM with visitation to follow until 8:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Miles was born December 26, 1955 in Columbus, GA, daughter of the late George A. Gingell and Kathleen Mullane Gingell. She was a loving wife and mother, as well as a fiercely loyal and compassionate friend to many.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael G. Miles.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, William "Bill" W. Miles of Midland, GA; sons, Jonathan G. Miles (Alisha) of Macon, GA, Jeremiah "Jeremy" P. Miles (Holly) of Fortson, GA, and William "Jeff" J. Miles (Sarah) of Kansas City, MI; daughter, Marilyn J. Miles (Jeff) of Farmington, MN; brother, Christopher Gingell of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Sophia, Caleb, and Jakob; a cousin who was more like a sister, Patricia Mullane of Columbus, GA and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
