Elizabeth Ann Johnson, beloved daughter, wife, mother and grandmother passed away Friday, May 29, 2020 at her residence in Columbus, GA., with family members at her side, She was 59 years old.
Elizabeth was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 8, 1960. She and her family moved to Columbus, Ga. in 1965. She was a graduate of Carver High School in 1978 and a dedicated member of St. Anne Catholic Church for many years. Elizabeth proudly served as the Director of the Children's Nursery and was the director of the former Mother's Morning out Program.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Wilson, uncle, Richard Dickerson,Sr., cousin, Jeanette Barham, mother and father-in-law, Anna and Louie Johnson, brother-in-laws, Robert Johnson and William Johnson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Thomas A. Johnson; her parents William and Patricia Porter; her children; Elisa Branton, Matthew and Christina Johnson (fiancé) Wade Adams; grandchildren, Blakely Deal, Bill Hart, and newborn baby Lainey Adams; aunt, Jeanette Dickerson; uncle, John Porter (Jean), cousins, Richard Dickerson, Jr. (Anne), Michael Dickerson (Constance), Kathleen Dickerson and Rodney Barham; brother-in-law, Dean Wilson, sister-in-laws, Monica Stewart and Connie Johnson and son-in-law, William Hart. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews to include Paul (Kelli), Justin, Jared, Jamison, and John Paul Dozier and Robbie Johnson, along with many other loving friends.
She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends along with everyone else she has ever deeply touched in her life.
Based on her family wishes on current events and travel restrictions, a service will be held at a later date.
