Elise S. Causey, 80, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, June 25, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a private interment at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Causey was born April 21, 1931 in Bath, South Carolina daughter of the late William Volley Speed and Lucy Walker Speed. She retired as an insurance clerk with Dr. Conner and Dr. Jack Sherrer. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Causey, Sr. and her son, Wesley Causey, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Greer Middleton (Christopher) of Columbus, GA; son, Michael J. Causey (Lynn) of Columbus, GA and sister. Marian Pertle of Columbus, GA.
