Elfriede H. McCormick of Columbus, GA. passed away Friday, January 17, 2020 at Parkwood Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 4:00 PM January 22, 2020 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home & Crematory with Chaplin Dean Knipe officiating. The family will receive friends following the service according to the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA. 31907.
Elfriede McCormick was born February 13, 1928 in Vienna, Austria to the late Johann (Gregory) and Hedwig Kumptner. She was a homemaker and a member of The Church of the Holy Family.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dewey C. McCormick.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan Ford (George) of Columbus, GA., Vicki Hasty (John) of Hogansville, GA., grandchildren, Josh Hasty of Columbus, GA., Melissa Hasty Beam of Hogansville, GA., Matthew Ford, Amanda Ford Adamczyk all of Columbus, GA., and 7 great-grandchildren children.
