Elene W. Wright, 88, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, August 27, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, August 30, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907 with Reverend David Howle officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.
Elene was born March 6, 1927 in Columbus, GA of the late Paul A. and Rose Lee Pitts Weatherly. She was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Reuben Lamar Wright and brothers, Elmer H. Weatherly and Albert A. Weatherly.
Survivors include a sister, Betty Weatherly Johnson of Macon, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
