Eleanor "June" Langford

Eleanor “June” Langford, 78 of Columbus, GA died Friday, March 5, 2021.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Britt David Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Jones and Rev. Chad Bryant officiating the service. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery following the service.  Visitation will be held Monday, March 8, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA. 31907. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, facemasks and social distancing will be required during the service and interment.

Mrs. June was born April 24, 1942 in Ft. Benning, Georgia to the late Walter C. Newman and Carrie Mae Grimes Newman.  She was  raised in Columbus, GA and was a lifelong Christian and was a dedicated member of Britt David Baptist Church. Mrs. June worked as a Seamstress for Cotswold.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Langford and brother, Eddie B. Pugh of Plano, TX.

She is survived by her 3 children, Pamela J. McClung of Mauk, GA., Walter A. Langford of Columbus, GA., Nadine Djukich of Columbus, Ga., sisters, Debra Carmack of Opelika, AL., Faye Sykes of Opelika, AL., 5 grandchildren, Wesley A. Langford of Columbus, GA., Ashley Randazzo of Phenix City, AL., Makenzie Djukich, Kadence Djukich, and Karoline Djukich all of Columbus, GA,  six nieces and nephews and her special friend, Jim Mattison of Cusseta, GA.
