Edwin “Eddie” John Sanders, III, 77, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Columbus Hospice House.
A private service will be held at a later date according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Eddie was born January 19, 1946 in Macon, GA to the late Edwin John Sanders, Jr. and Ellen Ragen Sanders. He worked as an accountant for Easter Seals in West Georgia. He was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. He loved to golf, fish and loved spending time with his family especially his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda Sanders of Columbus, GA, children, Jenny Weekley (Wade) of Columbus, GA, Shannon Hinds (Rusty) of Columbus, GA, Edwin “Eddie” Sanders (Sunday) of Columbus, GA, Missy Gettings (Jeff) of Columbus, GA, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
