Edna Louise Weaver, 78, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Monday, October 5, 2009 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Vernon Prather officiating. Interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 4, 2009 from 4 to 6 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Weaver was born April 28, 1931 in Dothan, AL daughter of the late Foy and Elizabeth Clemmons Grantham. She worked for Bibb Mill as a spinner and also worked in the Harris County High School Cafeteria. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Rickey Patterson, sister, Lois Grantham, and brother, Donald Grantham.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd E. Weaver of Columbus, GA, daughters, Diane Jones of Columbus, GA, Brenda Kirkland (Chester) of Columbus, GA, Teresa Harper (Ronald) of Marion County, GA, Renee Hamrick of Columbus, GA, Sandra Pauley of Nitro, WV and Yvonne Roberts of Columbus, GA, sons, Jimmy Patterson (Karen) of Columbus, GA, Gregory Allen Weaver (Shelly) of Nitro, WV and Carlton Patterson (Patty) of Phenix City, AL, brothers, Gene Grantham (Shirley) of Columbus, GA and Edward Grantham (Billie) of Jacksonville, FL, sister-in-law, Elizabeth Grantham of Phenix City, AL, twelve grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren.
