Edna Card Russo

Mrs. Edna Card Russo died in Macon
Friday morning. She was the
matriarch of the Card Family,
having survived a brother
and three sisters including
Mrs. Gladys Luquire of
Columbus. Mrs. Russo was
in failing health but did meet
her goal of reaching her
90th birthday celebration
less than two months ago.
She was a native Durham
N.C.

Survivors include her
daughters, Mrs. Pete
Peterman (Judy) of Macon
and Mrs. Donald Griffin
(Joann) of Kings Mountain
N.C. and extended family.
Locally she is survived by a
nephew, Jerry L. Luquire and
his family.

Mrs. Russo was a
Christian, and member
of the Lakeside Baptist
Church where her funeral
will be conducted Monday,
December 17, 2012 at
1:00 P.M. Macon Memorial
Service is in charge of
arrangements. She will be
buried beside her husband
in a Charlotte N.C. cemetery.
