Phenix City, AL - Edna M. Martin, 80 of Phenix City, died Monday February 15, 2010 at Canterbury Health Facility .
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 613 14th St. Phenix City, AL with Rev. Stan Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 till 8 PM at the funeral home.
Ms. Martin was born June 30, 1929 in Phenix City, Alabama daughter of the late Lena Spears Simmons and Charles Simmons. She worked at Eagle and Phenix Mills and attended Christian Heritage Church. She was preceded in death by her son Donnie Martin.
Survivors include her daughters Judy Collins (Stan) and Marlene Holton (Steve) all of Phenix City, AL; sons Gary Martin (Anita) of Eaton, GA, Larry Martin of Phenix City, AL and Ricky Martin (Barbara) of Ft. Mitchell, AL; brother Bud Simmons of Columbus, GA; eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
