Edith McClung Hale, a long-time resident of the Columbus area, died Thursday the 28th of April at Columbus Hospice.
Graveside services will be held 1 P.M., Monday, May 2, 2011 at Parkhill Cemetery with Rev. Trish Wilkinson officiating, according to McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Hale was born on August 11, 1922 in Marion County, Georgia to William Grady McClung and Reba Rodgers McClung. Edith graduated high school at age 16. She attended both Georgia Southwestern and Columbus College before receiving an early childhood education masterâ
