Edeltraud "Trudy" Veronika Perry, 90, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Columbus Hospice House.
A Rosary will be said 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at St. Anne Catholic Church 2000 Kay Circle Columbus, GA 31907 with a Mass of Christian burial to follow at 11:30 AM at the church with Father Robert Schlageter officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Trudy was born March 7, 1928 in Bad Wörishofen, Germany daughter of the late Adem Geiger and Justina Schwab Geiger. She retired as a Sales Clerk from Warren's Kiddie Shoppe and was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church where she also sang in the choir.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Edward Perry.
Survivors include her son, Arthur Perry (Robin) of Tucson, AZ, daughters, Margo Stevens (David) and Angela Thomas (Dennis) all of Columbus, GA, brother, Heinrich Geiger of Bad Wörishofen, Germany, grandchildren, Joseph Perry of Raleigh, NC, James Perry of Tucson, AZ, Nickolas Perry of Columbus, GA, Jennifer Perry of Savannah, GA and Christopher Thomas of Columbus, GA, and great-grandchildren, Katie Perry and Avarie Heath.
