Earnest Hall, 84, of Columbus died November 24, 2015 at Midtown Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, November 28, 2015, at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Reverend Dan McMinn officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. According to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Earnest was born May 25, 1931 to the late Young and Martha Hall. He enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves play, hunting, and fishing. Earnest was known as a hard worker and a jack of all trades. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Rachel Charlene Powell of Columbus, GA.
Survivors include a twin sister, Gladys Hall Jenkins, sons, Bobby L. Hall (Barbara) of Savannah, GA, David Neil Hall, Sr. (Sissy) of Savannah, GA, Roderick Steve Hall (Jennifer) of Coumbus, GA, Earnest Young Hall, Sr. (Susie) of Thomson, GA; daughters, Gwenda Ingram (Ronnie) of Columbus, GA, Tammy Gould of Columbus, GA; son-in-law, Randy Powell of Pittsview, AL; grandchildren, David Neil Hall, Jr., Melanie Lynn Hart, Travis Hall, Michael Sheppard, Jamie Lynn Hall, Adam Hall, Michael Nace, Frank Martiny, Kim Zucchelli, Kenneth Bottoms, Angel Jenkins, Tammy Beebee, Earnest Young Hall, Jr., Ashley Hall, Kristy Hall, Amanda Powell, and Miranda Powell, and a longtime companion, Sue Culpepper.
