Earline Whitehead Langston Cook

Earline Whitehead Langston Cook, 86, of Columbus, GA died, June 9, 2023 at St Francis-Emory Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, June 15, 2023 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Brother Don Whilhite officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery following the service.

Earline was born August 4, 1936 in Columbus, GA to the late Archie Whitehead and Flaviour Robinson Whitehead. Earline was known for her huge personality. She loved all people no matter what their background was, which made her the perfect waitress; an occupation that she took pride in for many years. Earline had a great sense of humor and made people laugh; she never met a stranger, as she was a friend to everyone she met. Earline shared her love with those she cared for in many ways, but her favorite way was by cooking grand meals for her friends and families. Earline was an animal lover; she leaves behind her cats that will miss her greatly. Earline was much loved and she will be missed terribly. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her stepson, Don Don Cook, late husband James Langston and husband, Donald Cook, Sr.

She is survived by her daughter Sharon Langston Brooks (Rod) of Columbus, three sons, Alan Langston (Patty), Brian Langston (Wendy), Steve Langston (Lisa), stepdaughter, Lisa Cook, fifteen grandchildren, and twenty two greatgrandchildren.
