Sgt. Maj. U.S. Army (Ret.) Earle G. Brigham, 69 of Columbus, GA. , died Monday March 8, 2010 at Columbus Regional Medical Center.
Memorial services with full military honors will be held Friday, March 12, 2010 at 2:00 PM. at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with Chaplain officiating.
Mr. Brigham was born February 17, 1941 in Lancaster, NH son of the late Earlene Webster Brigham and Gordon Brigham. He was a Sgt. Maj. (Ret) from the U. S. Army having served during the Vietnam War where he received the Vietnam Service Medal with four bronze stars and also received the Purple Heart. After leaving the service he was a truck driver for Eastern Freight Lines. He loved to fish and was a fantastic craftsman.
Survivors include his wife Marleen Hillhouse Brigham of Columbus, GA; daughters Priscilla Earlene Brigham of Columbus, GA, Teresa Gablaitt, Lori Blow and Kelley Brigham all of Vermont; step children Tiffany and Wendell Bricker of Alabama; sisters Rowena Carrier of Vermont and Merle Johnson; brothers Frankie Brigham of Virginia and Edwin Brigham of Lyndonville, VT., five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren
