Earl Winston Osbon, Sr., 75, of Columbus, GA died Friday October 5, 2018 at the Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday October 9, 2018 at the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Reverend Jerry Speer officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5-7 PM at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA.
Mr. Osbon was born December 4, 1942 in Blakely, GA to the Late Worthy Edward Osbon and Flora Bernice Culpepper Osbon. He worked for 13 years with the City of Columbus Fire Department and retired from the Ft. Benning Fire Department after 20 years. Mr. Osbon was a member of Eastern Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Osbon of Columbus, daughters, LeAnn Osbon Watters of Columbus, Lynn Wilbourn (Rusty) of Ellerslie, GA, son, Earl Osbon, Jr. (Becky) of Salem, AL, grandchildren, Paul Goins, Chelsey Barber, Morgan Randall, Tiffany Goins, and Stormy Watters, great grandson, Mason Barber, sisters, Gail Warren (Jim) and Cindy Osbon, brothers, Bob Osbon and Clint Osbon (Carolyn), and numerous nieces and nephews.
