Earl D Carr, 83, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Bill Nichols State Vet Home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 4, 202 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rabbi Shmaryahu “Greg” Lehtimaki officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Earl was born December 3, 1939 in Columbus, Georgia, to the late Aubrey A. Carr and Irene Moore Carr. He was known for being a social butterfly and could talk to anyone around him. He loved traveling especially to Alaska. Earl held many jobs in the Columbus area but retired as a truck driver.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Estelle Gloria Priester Carr; brother, Robert Carr, son, Kenneth Wayne Carr.
Survivors include his daughters, Lisa Carr and Amy Carr; son, Michael E. Carr, 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
