Duane A. Lake, 36, of Box Springs, GA died Wednesday, January 06, 2021 at Piedmont Midtown Hospital.
A celebration of life will be held 11:00 AM Monday, January 11, 2021 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Mike McBride officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, face coverings and social distancing will be required during visitation and funeral services.
Duane was born May 14, 1984 in Ft. Wayne, IN to Stephen Harlan and Laurlene Fritz Lake. He loved to draw, build models, spend time with his nephews and nieces and loved nature.
He is survived by his parents, Stephen and Laurie Lake of Box Springs, GA, sister, Shannon Brakefield (Tim) of Ohio, brother, Chris Lake, nephews, Yonas, Isaiah, Oren, and his niece Hannah.
